This week's edition of My Favorite Monday asks for my favorite candy. Thanks to Tiburon for the fun idea and the graphic!
My favorite candy without question is the Chick-O-Stick.
It somehow manages to improve on the Butterfinger, or maybe more accurately the Butterfinger tried unsuccessfully to improve the Chick-O-Stick. Any candy with peanut butter in it is an automatic winner for me, and while I'm not crazy about candy that doesn't have some chocolate in it, Chick-O-Sticks get past that hurdle with the toasted coconut and the way they start out crunchy but become chewy like peanut butter. I've liked Chick-O-Sticks since I was a kid and one of my favorite memories was my Mom letting me get a treat at the drugstore and I always picked a Chick-O-Stick and a Dr. Pepper!
